POSITION: Bingo Host/Clerk/Paymaster
REPORTS TO: Bingo Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt – Hourly
SUMMARY: A Bingo Host is a team member of the Bingo Department and fulfills four key roles; Floor Sales, Bingo Caller, Cashier and maintaining Inventory room. In each role, the Bingo Host has the responsibility of creating a fun and entertaining environment for all guests. Candidates for this role should have a strong passion for customer service, possess an upbeat and positive attitude, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. The Clerk has the responsibility of keeping accurate records of all bingo paper, pull tabs, bingo daubers, and other inventoried items that are distributed and returned to the Inventory Department. The Clerk responsible for calling bingo, maintaining bingo equipment, creating announcements, verifying winning cards in OMNI system, special drawings, update the progressive jackpot display, cleaning callers stand, recording Jackpots and recording payouts, and selling bingo paper sales. Responsible for Bingo payout and cashier and able to train associates for Bingo payout cashiers during assigned shift.

• Minimum High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.
• Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills.
• Must have knowledge of casino rules, procedures and regulations pertaining to Bingo Operations.
• Must be able to work as a team across departments and levels of management.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
• Must be able to work calmly and professionally in stressful situations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and forward/direct the customer to Management. Ability to communicate effectively with large groups of people.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to make change accurately and quickly.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. The associate must be able to maneuver all areas of the Bingo area. The associate must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds. The associate must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items. The associate must be able to walk and be on feet for long periods of time. The associate must be able to sit and work at computer terminal for long periods of time. Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices. Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed for game security.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. The position exists in a casino work environment where there is occasional exposure of the employee to high levels of noise and cigarette smoke from the casino floor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Class II license which requires a background check to be used solely for employment purposes. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed. In case of a positive result, the candidate is not eligible for employment with the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort. Employment will not begin until process is complete
